About This

• MORE THAN JUST A ROBOT: Sphero BOLT turns coding into creativity. Drive, play, and program your robot to explore logic, sensors, and data—the building blocks of AI learning. Hands-on, safe, and fun for students and lifelong learners alike.
• ADVANCED SENSORS & LED MATRIX: Equipped with programmable sensors and a dynamic LED matrix that can display movement, messages, and data in real time. BOLT helps students visualize their code and explore how systems use inputs and outputs to make decisions.
• CODE 3 WAYS: Use the Sphero Edu app to code BOLT through Draw, Blocks, or Text (Python & JavaScript). Explore projects that connect coding to real-world concepts like pattern recognition and problem solving.
• BUILT TO LEARN & PLAY: Durable, waterproof design with inductive charging and 4+ hours of play. Program BOLT’s movement, lights, and LED matrix animations, and use sensors to detect light, direction, and speed for hands-on, creative learning.
• BUILDING AI LITERACY: Through coding and debugging, students develop critical thinking skills to understand how AI works and use it responsibly — covering algorithms, logic, and data fundamentals.
